FAQs

1. Can I get a facial if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
Yes — absolutely. We customize every treatment to ensure safety during pregnancy and lactation. We avoid ingredients like glycolic acid and adjust the entire protocol to be gentle, effective, and fully pregnancy-safe.
2. Do you work with men, teenagers, and mature clients?
Yes. Our treatments are fully customized for all ages and genders. From teenage acne to mature skin concerns, we tailor every protocol based on your skin’s current condition — not your age.
3. What if I have allergies or sensitive skin?
We take allergies seriously. Before every treatment, we conduct a thorough consultation to understand your triggers and sensitivities. Your facial is then adjusted with carefully selected products to ensure both safety and results.
4. How do I know which facial is right for me?
You don’t have to. We analyze your skin at the beginning of your appointment and select the most effective treatment for your goals. Every facial at Brows and Faces is results-driven and personalized.
5. Will I see results after one treatment?
Most clients notice visible improvement after their first visit — smoother texture, better hydration, and a healthy glow. However, long-term results come from consistency and a customized treatment plan.
6. How often should I get facials?
For optimal results, we typically recommend treatments every 4–6 weeks. For specific concerns like acne or pigmentation, we may suggest a more targeted schedule.
7. Do you offer extractions?
Yes — when necessary. Extractions are performed carefully and only when your skin is properly prepped to avoid trauma or unnecessary irritation.
8. What should I avoid before and after my facial?
Before Your Appointment:

1. Arrive with clean skin and no makeup. For facials and especially a Korean Lash Lift, please avoid mascara.

2. Discontinue all active skincare ingredients, including retinol, retinoids, exfoliating acids, 10–14 days before your facial, microneedling, or brow procedure.

3. If you have received Botox or dermal fillers, allow at least 14 days before your treatment.

4. Avoid excessive sun exposure, tanning, and sunburn for 1–2 weeks before your appointment.

After Your Appointment:

1. Apply sunscreen daily and avoid direct sun exposure.

2. Avoid foundation, tinted products, and heavy makeup for at least 24 hours (or as recommended by your provider).

3. Keep the skin hydrated with gentle, non-irritating moisturizers.

4. Avoid intense workouts, saunas, steam rooms, and excessive sweating for 24–48 hours.

5. Do not pick, scratch, or exfoliate treated skin.
9. Can I combine treatments (like brows + facial)?
Yes — many of our clients combine services for a complete, polished look. We’ll guide you on the best combination based on timing and skin sensitivity.
10. Do I need a skincare routine at home?
Yes — professional treatments work best when supported by a proper home routine. We recommend only what your skin truly needs, focusing on long-term skin health and visible results.
